3.2 Trigger Mode

Detecting knock with a trigger input is the recommended mode for more accurate results






Required Actions

- Adjust the Trigger Inputs by clicking the "UP" and "DOWN" buttons

- Set trigger mode to "0" if you do not want to use a trigger connection for knock detection

- Set trigger mode to "1" if you want to use knock vs rpm detection

- For per cylinder knock detection the engine must have a coil per plug ignition system. Set the trigger mode to be equal to the number of cylinders

- If the engine has wasted spark ignition you can detect knock per cylinder pair. Set the knock trigger mode to be half (1/2) the number of cylinders


Attention

- For per cylinder knock detection the trigger input has to be connected to the number "1" cylinder signal
