5.2 Audio Output Bandpass

QUICK INFO:

The PLEX KNOCK MONITOR features a separate processor for audio output filtering making

the audio output independent from the knock detection system. In most cases you should select

the audio filter to match the set knock frequency (menu 2.2).

UNFILTERED

- The signal from the knock sensor is passed without any filtering to the

headphone output

BANDPASS 5 / 6 / 7 / 8 / 9 KHz 

- A 32db/octave band pass filter is applied to the signal.

HIGHPASS 5 / 10 KHz

- A 32db/octave high pass filter is applied to the signal.

Hint!

- In noisy racing engines you can try using the "HIGHPASS 10KHz" filter to better mask the mechanical engine noise
