Viewing the device internal Log Data with the PC Software

QUICK INFO:

The Plex Knock Monitor has an internal memory capable of holding max knock level and knock count information per cylinder vs load and rpm in 16 tables.

Logging is always active when in a realtime screen on the device. There is an option to clear the memory when entering the starting the realtime mode or it can be cleared via a command from the PC software.


Step 1

- Power up the Knock Monitor and connect he USB cable to the device and PC.

Step 2

- Set the device on any screen other than the realtime screens


Step 3

- Click the "Read from Device" button to retrieve the log data. You can click "Clear Device Log" to clear the memory.


Step 4

- Use the cylinder buttons and data type buttons to review the knock information.
