QUICK INFO
As the PBC-Pro has a large number of settings and engine protection mechanisms it can sometimes happen that a boost limit is triggered and the source must be identified to adjust the settings.
REQUIRED ACTIONS
- First it must be determined if the PBC-Pro is actually limiting the boost. For certain boost limits like EGT, Lambda, Boost and Fuel pressure a warning message is displayed in the realtime screens so they are easily recognised.
- For other boost limit we can configure any realtime screen to display the "BOOST LIMIT" parameter. This will take a positive value when a boost limit is triggered and will reset to 0 when no limit is active.
- The possible values are: 0 = NO LIMIT ACTIVE, 1 = BOOST PRES LIMIT, 2 = EGT LIMIT, 3 = LAMBDA LIMIT, 4 = OBD LIMIT, 5 = FUEL PRES LIMIT, 6 = EXT SWITCH LIMIT
IMPORTANT: All limits can be disabled if desired by setting the "Boost Limit/ Warn Enabled" option in menu 6.3 to NO.
