The long awaited successor to the discontinued legacy displays “PLEX SDM-300” & “PLEX SDM-500” is now available for shipping! The new PLEX SDM-330® is an ultra-compact 4.3’’ high-performance display & logger designed for all types of vehicles and suitable both for dashboard or steering wheel installation.
Housed in a lightweight CNC aluminum enclosure withIP67 protection, the SDM-330 features a 1k cd bright IPS TFT display and comes with our renowned proprietary clean UI that places emphasis on effectiveness vs impression. The SDM-330® is available in three different up-gradable versions: D (display only), DL (D plus USB logging) and DLG (all-in-one: DL plus 25Hz ex. GNSS module) starting at €959 (-DL version).
Inside the SDM-330 lies a powerful multi-core processor that allows for independent high speed processing of the various sub systems (display, can bus decoding, can bus transmit, math channels, lap timing etc) so that high performance is guaranteed even with the most complex configurations. The SDM-330 can be controlled either by external buttons or with any of the 2 configurable CAN BUS controllers that we offer for our line-up.
For intuitive configuration the SDM-330 requires our new PLEX Device Manager V2 Software that is now available for downloading on our support area here. Users can customise the display’s functionality and UI according to their requirements whilst benefiting from our our proprietary QuickGlance™ UI that provides clean and effective graphics for optimal viewing ergonomics and minimal driver distraction.
The DL and DLG versions are also compatible with our PLEX PDA-WIN® Data Analysis and Visualization software.
