We are happy to announce the official pre-ordering of our new powerful 5” Colour Dash Display & Logger that is meant to become the preferred mid-size display & logger for quality driven customers.
The new PLEX SDM-550® has a built-in 20Hz GNSS Module (all satellites) with dead reckoning to ensure accurate lap timing even in low signal conditions. Additionally, it has a built-in 100Hz Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) that combines an accelerometer, a gyroscope and a magnetometer to calculate the vehicles specific force & angular rate (pitch / roll / yaw) for precise vehicle dynamics reporting. Configuration is done easily & quickly and the USB logging diminishes file downloading time whilst providing “unlimited” datalogging memory.
The SDM-550® is housed in a high-quality CNC aluminum enclosure with IP67 sealing and very compact dimensions for its screen size (145mm x 95mm x 16mm / 315g). Similar to all other PLEX displays, the SDM-550® has fully configurable CAN BUS ports, User Interface (custom page design / colour themes), I/Os and Alarms/Warnings and delivers Best-in-Class Viewing Ergonomics.
